Hussey Signs for Rovers

Irish International Eddie Hussey confirmed today he was available for the rest of the season as Rovers look forward to a tough campaign in Division 7. Along with new swedish import, Paul Lundberg, the Rovers now have an international flavour to go along with the english backbone of Smith, Riddle and Hall. Rovers though are keen to foster local talent and Hose, Edwards and Fatu have been taken on board under the new development scheme, with the aim of producing a local star by 2015. "Our vision is to be the finest indoor soccer team in Wellington by 2020, and a couple of international players put us well on track for that" said Rovers supremo Steve Hall. "Our short term objective now is to learn to play, but I think we'll put two or three KPI's around that and that should see us through" quipped Hall.

I'm starting to look closely at these boys for higher honours, frankly I have few other options left.
