Football today had another fake shake when Land Rovers Psychologist Liz O'Brien organised a simulated earthquake exercise to see what would happen if an earthquake occurred under Shed 1 during a Land Rovers match. "We simulated a quake that was 7.2 on the Richter scale hitting the Shed of Dreams with sixty seconds to go in a Land Rovers match" said O'Brien 'and it is fair to say the real life event would require a certain mental toughness, particularly if the game was tied at 7 - 7". O'Brien said the simulation turned up some interesting insights into human psychology. "As Shed 1 was hit by the quake, only Captain Courageous Steve Hall maintained discipline as the shed fell into the harbour" said O'Brien "but even he lost a degree of composure as the tsunami hit with fifteen seconds remaining in the game". O'Brien said Hall however got a grip and managed to slam the ball into the opposition goal with seven seconds left on the watter logged clock. "The exercise was a success" said O'Brien "as Rovers won 8 - 7 and are now riding the wave of success".
