With the departure of Noirin Brady to Europe to boost Rovers European hand bag sales, Heather Fernandes has been appointed as the Rovers New Zealand based marketing chief. "We think Heather will really help us diversify our sales appeal to new markets" said Chairman Dean Rossiter "she has a spanish sounding name which will help us take on Real Madrid in the Japanese market, is Indian which should help us on the sub-continent, and was born on London which will be a big plus with the Cockney git market segment". Fernandes was ecstatic about the appointment and announced the club was working on releasing a song in time for the World Cup. "Can you hear the drum Fernandes? has promise" she said.
