Noirin Brady today confirmed the Rovers Handbag range had taken off since publicity created by Tana Umaga following the Super 14 final. "We were first to market as we had a two day jump on the story" said Brady "so we had our range on the net before the Rugby Union could really capitalise on it". Brady will be moving to Europe this weekend so that Rovers can push the range into the Northern Hemisphere Market. "We're excited about the commercial opportunities with the hangbag range" said Rovers Chairman Rossiter "so we're putting Noirin on the next plane to Europe". The New Zealand Rugby Union could not be contacted for comment.
