It's Finals Time

Land Rovers will play old enemy Infinity at 2.30 on Wednesday at the Shed Of Dreams. This will be the fifth meeting of the teams this year and it had been pretty much one way traffic to Infinity until Rovers sneaked a win in the last match 6 - 5. "We're really up against it in this one" said Land Rovers Manager Steve Hall "these guys are the Chelsea of Wellington Indoor Division 7 and we're the Bolton". Hall said he'd stayed up into the wee small hours to watch Bolton dismantle Liverpool so even a smaller club could bring down the big guns on its day. "Bolton had a very dodgey linesmen call go their way" said Hall "but I can't see Rovers getting any assistance from the officials".

After five hours of the Aussie Rules final yesterday, Hall said he was looking forward to watching ARL final tonight between the Storm and the Broncos . "I sometimes think we'd do quite well at indoor Rugby League if someone would just invent the game" said Hall "and if Billy Slater (pictured) wants a game of indoor football any time, he's in my starting line up".
